' Ancient Historical City Bhambore Is 2100 Years Old. Here Found The Archaeological Ruins Of Greek, Shashani And Hindu Brahman's Era. The Muslims Were Settled Here During 712 A.D To 13 Th Century A.D. It Consists Upon Nearly Four Eras. This Ancient City Of Sindh Was Populated Before The Victories Of Muhammad Bin Qasim. Before This, The Conquest Of Sindh And Hind Started From The First Sea Invade From Uman To Sindh Hind's Sea Ports (Debal, Bharoch And Thana) During Hazrat Umer(R.A) 's Era In 15 Hijri. After This , In Waleed's Times, The Description Of Conquest Of Sindh And Hind Started From The Incidents Of Invasion Of Abdullah Bin Banah And Badeel Over Debal And This Portion Ends With The Complete Conquest Of Sindh With The Hands Of Muhammad Bin Qasim. The Stories Of Arrival Of Muslim Army Under Command Of Muhammad Bin Qasin Are Still Saved In The Chests Of People. Debal Was A Renowned Sea Port And Center Of Buddhism In Those Days. There Was A Strong Fort Of Raja Dahar Near Sea Port.This City Is Called The Door Of Islam In Sindh Also Because Islam Spread First Time Here In South Asia And Foundation Of First Mosque In Asia Was Laid Here Which Is 1300 Years Old. Its Ruins Still Exists.
Sassi Also Belongs To Bhambore City. Sassi Brought Up In This City. The Graves Of Sassi And Ponno Are Situated In Baluchistan. The Present Name Of This City Is Bhambore Now. '

The Museum Was Established In 21st August 1960 A.D And The Stone Was Laid By Mumtaz Hasan ESQ , Sitara-I-Pakistan , Knight Commander Of The Order Of Merit Germany And Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Government Of The Pakistan.
It Is Written On The Commemorative Board Of Archaeological Museum Bhambore:
' Excavation Carried Out Here Since 1958 Have Exposed An Almost Complete Cross Section Of The Mound Following These Three Distinct Periods Of Occupation Have Been Revealed:
1- The Earliest Of Scytho Parthians ( 1st Century B.C To 2nd A.D)
2- Hindu Buddhist Period ( 2nd Century To 8 Century A.D )
3- Muslim Period ( 8 Century A.D )
The City Was A Latest Abandoned Due To The Shifting In The Course Of The River And Thus Turned Into A Huge Mound With The Passage Of Time. '
