Pakistan Railway Museum Golra Sharif


All these photographs are of Urdu commemorative metal plate, interior and exterior of beautiful building of Pakistan Railway Museum located at Golra Sharif, Islamabad, Pakistan. This museum is also named as Railway Heritage Museum. Railway Heritage Museum was founded in 2003 (officially inaugurated in 2007) and opened for public. The museum building houses relics and antique articles related to Railway from the British Raj. The Railway Museum Golra Sharif is a source of attraction for the tourists and visitors. A big yard is also a part of Railway Museum where cranes, trolleys, saloons, locomotives, coaches and tracks are marshaled impressively. Urdu commemorative metal plate describes this information:

" Lahore Gymkhana Cricket Club


Established in 1880(4.1 Acres) it is the second oldest, most picturesque and historic cricket ground of the Sub-Continent. It is the 35th official Test Cricket Centre of the World. The pavilion was designed and erected by G. Stone and Bahi Ram Singh which has the first Cricket Museum of Pakistan since 2003. The first and second class cricket match on Pakistan soil was play on this grand in 1947. The last test match played here was between Pakistan and West Indies in 1959."
