Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore is a trust hospital containing 550 beds. Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore was initially established in 1921 inside walled city of Lahore by renowned Pre-partitiion Philanthropist and Civil Engineer Sir Ganga Ram Agrawal and in 1943 this Hospital was shifted to its present location to fulfill the growing demands for medical and health care services. Architect & Engineer of new building of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore was Mr. T. R. Mehandru. Before 1947, Balak Ram Medical College was attached with Sir Ganga Ram Hospital which was abandoned at the time of Partition of Sub-continent. Fatima Jinnah Medical College Lahore was established in the building of Balak Ram Medical College. Now Fatima Jinnah Medical College Lahore is affiliated with Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore.
