These are photographs of English commemoratives stone and British times building of Kasur Industrial School Located at Dhorr Kot Kasur, Punjab, Pakistan. This school was Opened in nearly 1875-76 but found no Commemorative stone of that date. It was built with the funds issued by Muncipal Comittee Kasur. This Building Was constructed in 1915. The foundation stone was laid by Herbert Alexander Casson Esquire, C. S. I., the then Commissioner Lahore Division on 23rd February 1915 A. D.
Now the office of civil defense Kasur is working in this British times building.
Herbert Alexander Casson
Herbert Alexander Casson was born in circa 1867. He was the son of George Casson and Frances Hutton Long Gilbert. He married Gertrude Russell, daughter of Captain Andrew Hamilton Russell.Educated at Newton Abbot Propriety college, Marlborough College and Hertford College. He did I.C.S in 1886. Came to India in 1889. Additional District Magistrate Bannu from 28 December 1893. Deputy Commissioner of Jhelum district ( 1896-1897, 1899-1900).The Commissioner of Lahore Division (19??-1919).The Commissioner of Ambala Division (1919-1921).President of Punjab legislative council (1922-1925), died in 1952
