Punjab Provincial Assembly Lahore



These are photographs of English commemoratives stone and British times grand majestic two floors building of Punjab Provincial Assembly located the Mall Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. This beautiful building was designed by Mr. Bazel M Salune, the then Superintending Architect, Architecture Circle, Punjab. It represents roman architecture. The foundation stone of the Punjab Provincial Assembly was laid on November 17th, 1935 by the honble Sardar Sir Jogendra Singh, the then Minister for Agriculture and completed in 1938. The building and adjoining area covers an area of 16 acres. The Sessions of  Members of Provincial Assembly elected from whole Punjab are conducted here for shaping rules, acts and laws for the province. The administration of the Punjab works under the administration of Honorable Chief Minister and his cabinet.
