The administration of 'The History Of Sub-Continent Through Commemorative Stones' is much pleased to share the photographs of Urdu, Gurmukhi commemorative stones and Exterior and interior of Grand Beautiful British times Building of Lawrence Hall situated inside Lawrence Garden (Jinnah Garden) Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Lawrence Hall Lahore was built in 1861-62 as a memorandum in memory of Sir John Lawrence, First Lieutenant Governor Punjab (1st January 1859-25 February 1859) and Viceroy of India (12 January 1864-12 January 1869). Lawrence Hall Lahore has a very majestic ceiling and floor is made of Deodar wood. It was designed by Mr. Stone Civil Engineer. Lawrence Hall Lahore was used for public and official meetings. Quaid-e-Azam Library has been working in this Majestic Hall for 1984.


There are erected two commemorative stones inside Lawrence Hall, one in Gurmukhi and other in Urdu but having same information about Donors who donated for its construction. The Inscriptions of the stones read as under:
