These are some Photographs of English commemoratives stone, British times morble column and abandoned Railway track located at Khan Pur District Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab, Pakistan. This Commemorative column was Erected to Commemorate the site of cutting the first stone the Khan Pur Chachran Railway by his honour Sir William Louis Dane G. C. I. E., C. S. I., I. C. S., F. R. C. S., Lieutenant Governor of the Punjab and its Dependencies on January 1910 and the opening of this Railway for traffic on 19th July 1911.
This branch line was built with the order of Nawab of Bhawalpur Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi and was a part of Bhawalpur Royal Railway and North Western State Railway. Great Sufi Poet of Punjabi Khawaja Ghulam Farid was The spiritual Guide of Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi who lived there in Chachran Sharif. For spiritual guidance, Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi Frequently visited his Murshid in Chachran Sharif.
This track is now abandoned and there is no clue of Railway line which was looted by unknown people. Only a way exists now.
