'Bhadra Towers beside Bhadrakali temple Ahmadabad.
The imposing Bhadra Towers at Ahmedabad may be regarded as part of the oldest fortification of the city having been erected in 1411 A. D. The foundation of the city was Laid by Sultan Ahmad. On the high wall of the fort Bhadra originally dedicated to the goddess Bhadra Kali, stands the clock with two dial plates, one facing the three gates, the other facing the West. The clock was put up in 1849 A. D. '
