Parsi Fire Temple located at Ezra Street Kolkata, West Bangal, India

' Very Special Post '

These are the photographs of Gujrati commemoratives stone, English commemorative stone and Old times building of Parsi Fire Temple built by the command of Seth Rustam Ji Kawas Ji Bana on 16th September 1839 A. D located at Ezra Street Kolkata, West Bangal, India. This Zoroaster Fire Temple is Abandoned one and not used for fire worship.

The Parsis came from Iran to Gujrat first and then migrated to the rest of undivided India. Some of the Parsis settled there in Kolkata. They built many Temples for Fire Worship. This is one of those Temples. One thing to be pointed out is this that only by birth Parsis are allowed to enter in fire temple for worship. The people of other religions are strictly not allowed to enter the Parsi Temple.
