'Gurdwara Nagina Ghat Sahib'


' Once Sri Gobind Singh ji Maharaj was sitting on the bank of River Godawari when a devotee came for Darshan present a Nagina (Pearl) which Guru Ji threw in to the Godawari at this, the visitor was very upset and sad that Guru Ji has failed to evaluate his presented thrown the same in to the river just like a stone to remove his a stonisement, Guru Sahib told him to take out his Nagina the river of that was so valuable is said that when he entered into the River, to his surprise the river was full of pearls all around. His false pride of worldly thing was thus nallified by Guru Sahib Ji in a much refined was. From this place by leaving the arrow Guru Ji has disclosed his Satjugi Tap asthan (Worship Place) Takhat Sachkhand Shri Huzar Sahib. '

Shri Guru Nanak High School Mitha Tiwana District Khushab, Punjab, Pakistan

All These Photographs are Of Urdu, English and Gurmukhi commemorative stones and British times beautiful building of Shri Guru Nanak High School Mitha Tiwana District Khushab, Punjab, Pakistan. This school was Opened in 1865 A. D. The Gurmukhi inscription is very valuable. Dr. Subhash Parihar Sahib gives its English translation in this way:


It begins with a couplet of Saint Kabir which means: If I surrender to You what is already Yours, what does it cost me? ||203|| Guru Granth Saheb, page 1375.
After this it mwentions that "Rs. ten thousand donated by Sardar Sahib Sr. Sujan Singh, Sardar Sahib Sr. Sobha Singh, and Sardar Ujjal Singh of Hadali, for the building etc. of the dear Guru Nanak School. Samvat Nanakshahi 460", i.e. 1928-29 CE.
There is great possibility that Sardar Sujan Singh and Sardar Sobha Singh mentioned in this inscription were the grandfather and father respectively, of the renowned journalist Sardar Khushwant Singh. They did belong to village Hadali.




Urdu Commemorative Stone Erected on 06-10-2013 by Ch. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal Principal reads as Below :


' History of Government Higher Secondary School Mitha Tiwana '


This School was Opened in 1865 as Primary School and upgraded to Middle School in 1915. It became District Board High School in 1943 A. D. It became Government High School in 1947 A. D. Before the partition of the country, this school was in its ex building which is Girls High School and this school is shifted in the building of Guru Nanak High School and is working in the same building. It was upgraded as Higher Secondary in 1989 A.D. First Class of F. A was prepared in 1992 A. D. New splendid building is constructed for new classes. Now these classes are studying in the same building.'


Old Gurmukhi commemorative stone speaks as :


 ‘ ikomkar mera mujh mainkuch nahi jo kichu hai so tera tera tuj ko sompte kya laghe mera 10000rupey sardar sahib sardar sujjan singh sardar sahib sardar sobha singh ate sardar Ujjal singh handali niwasi ne piare Guru Nanak school de iamrat addd lai bent kite sambat nanak sahi 460.'

Gurdwara Qila Anandgarh Sahib located at Anandgarh, East Punjab, India

These are photographs of Gurmukhi commemorative stone/board and building of Gurudwara Qila Sri Anandgarh Sahib located at Anandgarh, East Punjab, India.

Gurudwara Qila Anandgarh Sahib was built by Guru Gobind Singh ji. This is one of five forts built by Guru Gobind Singh. After winning the Battle of Bangani and during the period from 1689 to 1705, the Mughals and the hill Rajas (Kings of the surrounding Hill regions) fought many battle with the Sikhs. Inside see the Baoli sahib from the Guru period; after the request by the Sikhs to the Guru to leave the fort, it was from this building that all the Sikhs and the Guru departed after the Mughals and the Hill Rajas had made their written promises of safe passage to the Guru and the Sikhs.

Gurmukhi Commemorative board describes as under:

'Gurudswara Kila Sri Anandgarh Sahib

Eh Kila Guru Gobind Singh Ji de Panj Kileaan vichon ik hai. Bhangani da Yudh Jitan ton Baad Guru Sahib Ji ne (Samant1746) Sun 1689 ton 1705 tak Mughalaan ate Paharhi Raajeaan virudh kai Yudh Larhe.

Kile de andar Guru Sahib Ji de same d Puraatan Baoli de Darshan karo ji.

Guru Sahib Ji de Singhan valon Guru Sahib Ji nu Benti karan Mughalaan Faujaan ate Paharhi Raajeaan valon Hamla na karan diaan Kasamaan Khaan te Guru Sahub Ji ne ethon Kila Khali kar k Samuh Singhaan Samet Chamkaur Sahib Nu Chale pa Dite Si'

Gurmukhi commemorative stone of Gurudwara Qila Sri Anandgarh Sahib reads as Below :

'Ek onkar shriwaheguru ji di fateh

atal katha di yad quila anandgarh ban giya

satgur ke parsad sew kari kartar singh

quila anandgarh ji di sewa da arambh 1 1990 maghar te samapti poh 1992 .nu hoyi

........shri amritsar ki guru ke bagh wich suraj parkash di katha sunan wali samuh sangat walon bheta kiti maya nal.

guru ghar da........giani kartar singh........hai.granthi.......sahib shri amritsar'
