located at the top of Zabarwan mountain range Srinagar, Kashmir, India. The architecture depicts an example of Islamic architecture and art during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Park Mahal was built by Prince Dara Shikoh, The eldest son of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in Mid-Seventeenth Century. Prince Dara Shikoh was said to have lived in this area in the years 1640, 1645, and 1654. It was further used as an observatory, useful for teaching Astrology and Astronomy.

' PARI MAHAL SRINAGAR '

' Pari Mahal Or Fairies Abode (Lat 34' 05' N, Long 74' 53 E) is situated on a Hillock Overlooking The Beautiful Dal Lake. This terraced Arched Garden was built by Dara Shikoh, the eldest son of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in Mid-Seventeenth Century. In The upper most terrace, there Are the ruins of two structures resembling a Baradari and Reservoir. In The middle of second terrace is a  large tank. The Facade of The retaining wall is ornamented with a series of twenty one arches built in descending order. The Third terrace has The main entrance. On either side of it are a series of spacious rooms. The forth terrace has The remains of a tank. The Fifth terrace has an arcade regaining wall with pigeon holes. The Sixth terrace has a rectangular tank in a middle and  octagonal bastions at its end. Fragments of earthen water pipe are still to be seen in The structure.'
