These are photographs of Gurmukhi commemorative stone and Pre-partitiion building of Guruduwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha located at Mandi Montgomery (Sahiwal), Punjab, Pakistan. Guruduwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha Mandi Montgomery was built in the year 1938 A. D. This Gurdwara is not in working condition as there is no Sikh population here in Sahiwal. Local police station is working in the building of Gurdwara Sri Singh Sabha Sahiwal.

Dharam Pura at Basal Railway Station District Attock

All these photographs are of trilingual commemorative stone and beautiful pre-partitiion Monument of Dharam Pura located in front of Basal Railway station District Attock, Punjab, Pakistan. Dharam Pura is a place of religion same as Dharamshala. Dharam Pura Basal was constructed in memory of Bhagat Narain Dass Bhasin of Thatta, built by his wife Mustt: Vishan Devi. Urdu writing of Dharam Pura Basal reads as under:

"یہ دہرم پورہ بھگت نرائنداس بھین ٹہٹہ والا کی یادگار میں دہرم پتنی وشندیوی نے تعمیر کرایا ان کی نیک کمائی سے۔ یہ دہرم پورہ بھگت نرائنداس مرحوم ذات بھین سکنہ ٹہٹہ نے دہرم ارتھ بنانے کے لئے اپنی دہرم پتنی مسماة وشندیوی کو بوقت سرگباش ہونے اجازت دی تھی انکی آگیا ہونے کے بعد 10 ماہ بہادرون 1980 مطابق انکی دہرم پتنی نے انکی نیک کمائی کو سفل کیا اور دہرم پور تیار کیا گیا کہ جب تک دہرم پتنی زندہ رہے گی دہرم پورہ کی سیوا جسقدر ہوسکے گی کرتی رہیگی۔"

Ancient Buddhist Stupa of Ban Faqiran Islamabad

These are photographs of English/Urdu Commemorative boards and ancient time Buddhist Stupa located at Ban Faqiran Islamabad, Pakistan. Its period of construction is 2nd to 5th century A. D. Bilingual Commemorative board erected by Department of Archeology and Museums National History and Literary Heritage Division Government of Pakistan provides this historical information about this Buddhist stupa:


"Buddhist Stupa of Ban Faqiran Islamabad

The given name 'Ban Faqiran' is derived from local Vernacular, "Ban" (Reservoir) and "Faqiran" (saints). Ban Faqiran stands for a Reservoir dedicated to saints. The Archeological site locally known as Ban Faqiran is situated in the west of Islamabad, with an average height of 850 meters from sea level, about 2 km in the southwest of Shah Allah Ditta caves, District Islamabad. Remains of the world Heritage site ; Giri stupa, and Dharmarajika stupa are located in the North West of mosque and water Reservoir, at the distance of about 2 to 3 kilometers. Ban Faqiran stupa along with a long staircase, covering an area of 10.75×26.20 meters(including staircase measuring 16.20×2.60 meters). Presently Ban Faqiran Buddhist stupa is the largest one, historical Buddhist Monument discovered in Islamabad. Limestone masonry of square stupa and rectangular staircase is semi-ashlar and diaper. Besides the huge structural remains of Buddhist stupa, variety of numismatic, pot shards, arrow heads have been discovered. Coins belonging to 1st century B. C to 1963 and presently displayed in Islamabad Museum(G-5/1 Attaturk Avenue Islamabad).

Warning: Under Antiquity Act 1975, under sub section (1) of Section 10, these remains have been protected, therefore any damage, caused to these remains will be treated under the same act, section 19 and offence is punishable with rigorous imprisonment for a term of three years or fine or with both.

Model Town Society Office Lahore

"This Foundation stone was laid by His Excellency Sir Edward Maclagan M. A., K. C. S. I., K. C. I. E., C. S. Governor of the Punjab on Friday the 11th April 1924."

Empress Market Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan

These are photographs of English commemoratives stone and British times grand beautiful building of Empress Market located at Saddar Town Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It is also known as K. M. C. Market. It is one of the seven markets in Karachi. Empress Market Karachi is an icon of British architecture. The construction of Empress Market Karachi was started in 1884 A. D and completed in 1889. The English constructed Empress Market on the historical grounds where a number of native sepoys were executed by the British after the war of independence 1857 so that the native people may not build a memorial of their native sepoys. The British built  Empress Market Karachi to commemorate the jubilee of Queen Empress Victoria. The commemorative stone of Empress Market Karachi provides this historical information:

"EMPRESS MARKET
Built by the Karachi Muncipality to celebrate the jubilee of the most gracious Majesty Victoria Queen Empress. Opened 1889. J. Strachan."

Isa Khan's Garden Tomb Delhi, India

These are photographs of English commemorative board and ancient beautiful Isa Khan's octagonal tomb garden located inside Humayun tomb complex Delhi, India. Commemorative board erected by Urban Renewal Initiative provides this historical information:

"Isa Khan's garden Tomb

Isa Khan's Garden Tomb pre-dates Humayun's tomb by two decades and is the culmination of an architectural style used for royal tombs in Delhi during the Sayyid and Lodi Dynasties from the early 15th to the 16th centuries. It is the only surviving octagonal enclosed tomb complex with walls, mosques and gateway intact.

Conservation work at the site commenced in January 2011, following extensive documentation including 3D high definition surveying, condition assessment, archival research and a peer review of the conservation plan.

An enormous amount of work was required to remove some 325,000 cubic feet of earth from the site is order to restore the landscape to its original level while being careful not to destroy any Archeology. Conservation and landscape works are carried out with due care of authenticity of material and building tradition and have restored the integrity of the Humayun's Tomb World Heritage Site.

The Aga Khan Trust For Culture with co-funding of World Monuments Fund and in partnership with the Archeological Survey of India undertook the conservation of Isa Khan's Garden Tomb, Mosque and gateway during 2011-13. Tile work on the canopies and facade will be restored in 2014."

Beautiful building at Gowal Mandi Lahore

Gurudawara Panjvien Chevien Patshahi Sri Nankana Sahiib

These are photographs commemorative stone/boards, Parkash Ashtan, exterior and interior of Grand Beautiful historic Gurudwara Panjveen Chevien Patshahi located near Gurudwara Tambu Sahib Sri Nankana Sahib, Punjab, Pakistan. Both Gurudwaras share common boundary wall. According to the information written on commemorative board, at this holy place, 5th Guru of Sikhism Guru Arjun Dev Ji Maharaj stayed here when he came here to visit Janam Ashtan of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. So this place is famous as Panjveen Patshahi. This is the Holy place where 6th Guru of Sikhism Guru Hargobind Sahib Jee Maharaj stayed here after coming back from Kashmir tour. The tree with which he knotted the bridle of his hourse is still exists as a memorial (Preserved in a glass case). And then from here, he went to visit the Janam Ashtan Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj on foot. So this place is famous as Chevien Patshahi.
