'The History of Sub-Continent Through Commemorative Stones' Is A Dream Research Project Of Mr. Shamshad Hussain Babar, Literarily Known As Ali Babar, Started in 2014. This Project Focuses On The Old Writings Available At Commemorative Stones On Pre-Partition Monuments Of United Sub-Continent.
This Unique Project Is Started To Save The Common History Of Sub-Continent Through The Surviving Stones For Present And Next Generations. With The Passage Of Time The Commemoratives Stones Are Getting Vanished From Various Buildings Mainly Due To Human Activities Of Renovation & Reconstructions And Lack Of Awareness Regarding Their Importance. The Photograph Of Such Stones Is The Only Way To Preserve The Precious History Of The Buildings And Monuments. The Purpose Of The Project Is To Facilitate The Researchers And The Students Of History Worldwide, Who Have Chosen The Field Of Research Regarding The “Indian Sub-Continent”.
Realizing The Historical Importance Of Commemorative Stones, We Are Working As Passionate Pressure Group To Impose The Elective Subject Of “The History of Sub-Continent Through Commemorative Stones” At Degree Level In Higher Educational Institutions Of Pakistan, India And Bangladesh.
